He told me it would all be on the desk in his workplace office whenever he decides to physically be there. That was around 1970, not a fax machine, no, a computer. That computer took off like wildfire once it was introduced as a household commodity.
I am now 81, having resisted falling into the "technological age trap" until 1998, when a musician friend introduced me to a computer program that would make it possible to write all my handwritten guitar music into publishable format. One thing led to another, from Cubase to Dreamweaver to Word to Photoshop to Facebook to Group Administrator to blogger to making my own web sites on music, ecosystem and the naive idea that I could create a global voice for Peace, Justice and Sanity on Facebook which since 2010 with the passing of time proved to be naive wishful thinking on my part.
Over these 11 years I have watched the evolution of the internet not from an academic perspective, but from a concerned global citizen's perspective. That 11 years retrospective view on our world with the net as my lens, and a little travel to a few war and corruption impoverished countries, has provided me with only one answer: "The net is a crime hub like none before". People are manipulated and sucked in to a dead end vacuum. I don't have to be on the net alone to see how the addiction is holding the entire world to ransom, I see it in my local district town and small village, on the sidewalk cafes, on the supermarket shelves, and people with loaded trolleys on automated people conveyors focused on their mobile gadgets. "Find us on Facebook". "Are you on Facebook?" etc etc. Include all other "free media" and their endless production of updates, upgrades, new "apps", miles long fine print conditions and cookies in your computer after every web site visit, agreed or not.
No, you can't change the IT Algorithm Robot industry, it is a self perpetuating machine, driven directly and indirectly by a 7.8 billion world population but nonetheless, with a few people manipulating the strings of what is now the greatest of all puppet shows ever devised in human history. It may be hard to swallow, but we have been lied to since day one at the dawn of the ruling establishment, who really knows, 6,000 years ago, 10,000, 500,000? Why should we care when the fact is that the bureaucratic offspring of that establishment still rules this society today, unscrupulously, unrepentant, without a conscience, without a moral code. We have nowhere to go except for a global, United Voice for Change - total change and reform into the as yet never known realm of a World of Peace, governed by intelligence.

The "Corona Virus Pandemic" has opened up a Pandora's box of opinions - they're flooding the net by the tens of thousands, a virus all in itself. From the average citizen to the news presenter, the preacher, the religious nut, the professional and unprofessional medics, the political commentators, the economists, each telling it from their own perspective. And people agree, disagree and respond in favor while another responds with vindictive antagonism. The sad irony is that videos go along nicely, saying it as it is, but at the end comes the sales pitch for yet another product or a religious or political ideology.
Pity, Richard Wolff, below right, comes out extremely strong against the evil that runs capitalism, but at the end of that comes the socialist bottom line. All systems fail, religions, socialism/communism, capitalism, democracy - you can choose any system that captures your conviction, but whichever system you submit to, you'll be slave to one hierarchy or another. You can also choose to keep yourself immune from the conditioning that every Tom, Dick and Harry so eagerly tries to lay on you, which is the most liberating thing you can do in this Life, but you still won't enjoy a life of "Freedom" while all around you the world is caught up in the vices of political idealist bureaucratic shortsightedness.

The questions all those self propaganda promoting bureaucrats need to address is not how much good they're doing, they need to come up with daily statistics of victims dying of every conceivable industrial pursuit in the name of "The Economy" e.g. the Prospective Power Base for whomever emerges from the ashes of the deluge they have been creating for their Global Monopolized Rule over the human labor force or what will be left of it when they're done, if anything at all.
The 2021 AD World population number hovers around 7.6 - 7.8 billion people. But the proportional next to nil pittance of ruling elite and their power obsessed underdogs continue to write to rules for that population - hello-oh! How much longer are you going to take the catastrophic lunatic agendas? Work it out if you can still do your own thinking and are capable of adding two plus two, as once you have been totally genetically modified to obedient robot status, your thinking days are over and you have become instrumental in the perpetual decadence of all living species.
There are things anyone can do to change the course of history. For a start, believe nothing and no one until you have done your homework - which doesn't take much effort when everything stares you in the face in this obnoxious, lying, global supermarket of all things. When you're done, then take responsibility for your own life by living for your "basic, natural needs" instead of anyone else's self promotional verbal and material trash. Suicide? Nahhh, doesn't happen, everything's just fine, people are just making up stories. Fear for the future? Nonsense. I was told by a man with a "good job", happily married, comfortable home with all the entertainment trimmings, 3 little kids with a tonne of plastic toys, two cars in the garage and a view across the deforested landscape: "And you know what? We don't have to worry about a thing, our kids are going to pay for all this".
So, I'm 81, 2 kids in their late 30's, 4 grand kids from 6-16, and I see children growing up everywhere in this anti Life war zone we call Planet Earth - and I'm at a loss though not for lack of trying, how to stop the decay that after all said and done started thousands, perhaps millions of years ago while corporate crime and individual criminals continue to impose their warped hatred on this world unobstructed by the fake governing "system". So at the end of my journey, shall I lay down and "Rest In Peace"? I don't think so.

THE WORDS "THE ESTABLISHMENT"
refer to the bodies in the world's hierarchy systems where decisions are made on behalf of who or what concerning what gets destroyed and what is retained, and who lives and who dies where and when. If we were to name specific people, we would end up with a list long enough to stretch across one of the Earth's severely polluted, dying oceans. In short, every human is part of the hierarchy, slaves at the bottom, ruling class at the top, and speculators in the vast space between the two extremes.
When we refer to the "system" we generally refer to local conditions as established by the establishment varying broadly from black on white bureaucratic rules and regulations to unwritten civil/cultural behavior trends.
In the final analysis, the entire world population lives by a conditioned set of rules variable from country to country and subject to what establishment imposes the laws. History has it that conditioning, the rules and the laws have been established by religious hierarchies and that to this day in 2016 AD they still do albeit through varied corporate bodies posing as religious or non religious; the truth is not always shouted from the rooftops.
What the "Establishment" pursues around the world is an open book, finding your way through the vast maze of intrigue to get to a simple answer however is like walking into a no go zone minefield signed "WARNING! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK". But, people do enter and some even come back to tell their story - most while hiding, on the run hunted by the establishment and/or discredited by the pro establishment media.
For the everyday civilian anywhere in this world, there is no way to know the truth, who or what to believe, who or what to side with or support. Public media is the epitome of everything that stands against Life, if not devised by the establishment for the establishment, it certainly works in its favor as the greatest people manipulation device ever - like all industries, the little man becomes the industrial perpetuating entrepreneur for better or for worse no questions asked where ever there is financial and/or self status to be gained, and so, many of us are willing slaves for the "establishment" e.g. our own destruction, not counting the millions, men, women and children forcibly and psychologically enslaved to carry out the dirty work on command from the higher levels in the establishment.
Since the almighty establishment has so much power to determine who or what lives on the Earth, on behalf of all those who participate in the November 25 Event, our question directed at all those responsible for wars and human, animal and environment destruction is: "With all the wealth at your disposal you choose to wage war on Life, why don't you for once in history turn around, face the truth and use your exuberant wealth to create a world where people are educated to live in peace with their fellow beings and their environment. And if you can't get yourself to do so, then please have the decency to tell the world the truth as to why you can't".

BEWARE when you're looking at a neat, sterile web site, usually lacking color and aesthetic creativity, check the directors, the CEOs, the board panels, the corporate sponsors, staff, donors, their universities, long line of corporate boards memberships, political history, etc etc.
Note verbal and visual propaganda, how many years, decades or centuries an organization has been involved in humanitarian projects and/or charities and if their claimed objectives amount to any achievements or the lack thereof, did they press for Change? World Peace? Scrutinize any site with a fine tooth comb. If on Youtube, check on both the interviewers and their guests. Be vigilant, never take anything at face value. And whenever anything doesn't add up, don't post it all over the place, forget it, find another site or video, one you have no problem trusting. The same goes for everything that is thrown on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, etc. etc. The "civilized" world is a minefield loaded with traps. Internet "Technology" and its "Artificial Intelligence" crawlers throw it all in your lap but it's up to you to do your own thinking and sift through the global everything goes supermarket maze before you post or share anything the world is better off without.
