The Queen. A figurehead born into a family that has controlled one of the most ruthless empires in the world, its military tentacles reaching across every continent and every island on the Planet. I am finding out many of my neighbours have become ‘martyrs’. All the young ones. The happy ones. The ones who wanted to travel, get engaged.
The ones working in the family corner shop, the taxi drivers, the students, the ones who helped me when I had the accident and maybe the ones involved in it; the ones who had no plans at all but did make a choice to go and fight. ‘It’s our duty’ they always tell me while I feel my duty is to protect them. At the end, we gave them this world, the fertile ground of wars included.
They started leaving on small buses in April 2015 (the war started on March 26 of the same year) from the Old City of Sanaá full of hopes. With a Kalashnikov and a small copy of the Holy Quran in hand.
They are heading north, They are going South my neighbours would tell me.
Don’t worry, Dear, Allah is with them.
They died in Mareb, Bab el Mandab, at the border, in places you have rarely heard of. The flowers are all gone. They continue dying. I hate social media. I hate WhatsApp messages in the middle of the night.
I could say it politely ‘Down with wars’. I won’t. FUCK WARS

an obsession that brings this World nothing but false authoritarianism and preconditioned mindset.
Symbolism is everywhere, eye catching icons or avatars substituting written language. The obsession with symbols has gone so far as if taking a 180 degree turn back to ancient hieroglyphics. One thing about symbols is that they are multi lingual which comes in handy if you want to propagate the notion of religions of all kinds living in peace with each other - which is not going to happen while religion runs people's lives. Religion never was about truth, fantasy yes, realistic truth, never. Symbols are a commercial sales tool. Whatever you want to sell be it a household item, a product of any kind, a home loan, a political agenda, a religion or a war, you need a symbol of some kind. Symbols, religious symbols especially, are now so popular, that people occupy half their life creating them by the millions, but as usual and to their own demise, don't think twice about the all too often dire implications imposed on society.

Many of the world's most intelligent, sincerely concerned lecturers continue using the non-existent as a basis for their argument. Fact rather than fiction however would serve humanity better.
To add insult to injury, seeing mass indoctrination at work by the so called Christian churches, the Vatican, Orthodox, Protestant, Abrahamic culture, any religious and political institution for that matter,
the fundamental crime of lies, deception, extortion and criminal psychological coercion on a mass scale is none better visible than in the stadiums of the so called "Evangelical Mega Church Ministries"
where the operators become billionaires off the vulnerability of the naive believers.
Not only do the scriptures of all of the numerous religious institutions tell their infinite stories, added to that is the even greater amount of literature raising questions and insisting on answers to this human history saga that created gods out of thin air as a result of grappling with a mystery that has no answers, since this "God" engraved in the human mind does not exist. So why not face the fact that the "God" hypothesis is a delusive lie and therefor why waste endless energies (and killing) on justifying our utter self imposed blindness to the realities that dominate our lives while worshiping the gods living among us and the gods they answer to in order to keep us as slaves and pawns for their unscrupulous, monstrous agendas.
